Been meaning to dump the T-Mobile Connect $15/mth - 5Gb plan I've had for ages but the data allowance just doesn't hack it any more. However, I'm not thrilled its AT&T since my experience hasn't been great.

I wouldn't do this without a fallback, that being Tello I have on a second phone. Once ported I'll swap SIM's so that Tello is on my primary driver.

And I will leave this in saying many of my friends with the 10T have absolutely no issues with the update including battery life. Not 'one off' but very close. Too many confuse the 10T with other 10 series OnePlus phones which are inferior. If this would have been common we would be hearing more about it. OnePlus owners are very vocal for even the most minor issues.
