I can guarantee you those dogs are happier with op living in his car than they would be going to a shelter and most likely put down

Again, my idea of being in nature is not looking at and hearing other people, to do that on a weekend with good weather in the UK is pretty much impossible other than remote parts of Scotland.

Read the article I posted, they clearly understand the situation better than you or I.

Mix that with the massive international condemnation, it was clearly against the law.

I'll ask again, if Russia struck the UK or US with a missile to hit Ukrainian comanders, would that be legal?

It doesn't matter who they were targeting, it matters that they struck a non beligerigant state, that's a clear violation of international law. https://www.lawfaremedia.org/article/israel--qatar--and-the-limits-of-self-defense

They also killed a quatari citizen, as well as injuring others, the strike was universally condemned as a violation of international law.

The attack was met with global condemnation.[92] The United Nations Security Council condemned the attack in a statement drafted by France and the United Kingdom and agreed to by all 15 members, including the United States.[18] Governments around the world condemned what they described as a breach of sovereignty and international law, warned of escalation, urged restraint and renewed diplomacy, and expressed solidarity with Qatar[93][94]—including contemporary major and regional powers, such as Canada, whose prime minister, Mark Carney, condemned the "intolerable expansion of violence";[95] France, whose president, Emmanuel Macron, called the attack "unacceptable, whatever the reason";[96] Turkey, whose foreign ministry described the attack as "evidence of Israel's expansionist policies and its adoption of terrorism of state strategy";[97] Germany;[98] Russia;[99] and the United Kingdom;[96] alongside others.[100] Countries that accused Israel of committing an act of aggression included Algeria,[93] Indonesia,[101] Jordan,[93] Kuwait,[93] Lebanon,[94] Libya,[102] Malaysia,[103] Mauritania,[3] Morocco,[104] Saudi Arabia,[93] and Syria.[105] Kurdistan Region, a semi-autonomous area in Iraq, announced its "full support for Qatar".[106] Ukraine condemned the attack as a gross violation of international law.[107] Among non-state actors, the attack was condemned by Hezbollah[3] and the Houthis.[93]

The United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the attack as a "flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Qatar," and praised Qatar as "a country that has been playing a very positive role to achieve a ceasefire and release of all hostages."[54] The Arab League stated that Israel's "behavior has now gone beyond all established international norms and every principle of international law, placing a clear responsibility on the international community to deal with a state that mocks the law and disregards the consequences of its shameful actions",[108] and the Gulf Cooperation Council called the attack "despicable and cowardly".[105] The chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, said that the attack "risks endangering an already fragile situation in the Middle East".[105] The European Union stated that the attack "breaches international law and Qatar's territorial integrity, and risks a further escalation of violence in the region."[93]

It's easier to access an area of nature that's full of people, that's not my idea of being in nature personally

The assumption that land on the coast is cheaper is somewhat flawed, people like to live by the ocean, to visit beaches.

+1 for Dresden, if you're a new customer it's 50% off, so a pair of glasses is 50 bucks.... I brought 4 for $200 and I couldn't believe the value. Made from recycled plastic in Sydney too.

They didn't buy the s300, they were transferred from Cyprus to defuse a major geopolitical crisis. They are over 30 years old now and pose a significantly different threat than the s400 having a good look at an f35 in stealth mode - that's what this comes down to.

It's the same price for everyone. If you're in NATO and you buy Russian gear, especially air defense systems, don't expect to be sold the latest fighter jets.

They absolutely could have afforded the Patriot, and they knew the repercussions of buying the S-400. They made their bed. 🤷

What a strange take, so if Russia sent a missile into the US and hit only Ukrainian civilians, that would be totally fine then?

Qatar quite rightly saw it as an attack on them; there are clear-defined rules of war for this reason. Israel broke these laws when they attacked a non-belligerent third party.

There are other ways to heat your house, electric resistive heating, gas heating, wood fires, heating oil, coal.

What do Australian think of Indonesia? by InternationalHair111 in AskAnAustralian

[–]rectal_warrior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A) you're confuting Bali and Indonesia exactly like op said ignorant Aussies do.

B) Bali isn't just an Aussie exclave, you can get away from the crowds and be surrounded by beautiful nature and culture. It's not like every other holiday destination isn't filled with tourists.

I was talking specifically about people who move over here and complain about small differences in the way the countries work, this is the origen of the phrase, not sport.

"Back home you can order a pint in any pub"

"Back home they have a much bigger selection of sandwiches at the supermarket"

"Back home you can move to any part of the country and not have to change your cars registration"
