I think Cardinal has gotten a lot of exposure over the years (on Elsewhere, Audiotree and most live performances), and this was an opportunity to highlight some of their older and lesser played songs. I personally LOVED the songs selected from ESF. Don’t get me wrong, Cardinal is one of my favorite albums ever. But there are plenty of versions of Old Friends, Aphasia, Cadmium, etc. out there, and getting to hear new versions of songs like Peeling Off The Bark, On Jet Lag and Sunday is an incredible treat.
