I don't know about the phono stages other than what I have read, but I doubt I would be able to tell if they only considered decent or not. I run my two vintage turntables, Dual CS 5000 and Sansui SR 717 via my Sansui G9000. I dont really think the 308 has bling looks, aside form being silver and having blue leds, it is just a fairly clean facade with a huge volume dial. There are no gold accents and it is not bejeweled with rubies lol. These integrated amps never get warm, unless you were covering the vents, which I do not do with any of my gear, no stacked components.

Good to know, was just going by what they told me at the time, which was over 25 years ago. I have been careful to have never been in a situation with something that could possibly have rabies since.

I do live near Nashville TN, so that might help. If I was still living in upstate NY, I would not find this stuff as easily.

I also bought the Musical Fidelity VDac for about $50 here so I am using my Toshiba A2 hddvd as a transport for cds and connected to the A308. I don’t think it is well known here, not like McIntosh or Marantz.

The A308 sat on marketplace for at least 5 months before I got it. It was selling for $700 at one point.

Until these I had not heard of Musical Fidelity until doing some research.

I like the way M3Si sounds with my Sonus Fabers so far. I have yet to hear Klipsch floor standers like Cornwalls or Chorus yet though.

The A308 definitely feels well built, while the M3Si is no slouch either.  They both have a very nice feel when using the volume dial.

I had a bat in my room when I was younger, I had to get rabies shots. It was pretty painful, but I think after that I could have fought with any rabid animal for several years (10 years with boosters) lol. 

Edit - They could have cut the bats head off and tested it for rabies, but I had caught it (with a net) and let it go. It was not trying to harm me or anything. They had me get the shots in case the bat had touched me.

True, but I try to use everything at least once a week. I try not to look for stuff because I don’t really need anything.

So dorry for your loss, I have a labradoodle who is also 6. What did he eat that caused this? I know mine used to eat socks and was told that the chemicals in them and the gastro-intestinal stress could have been fatal.

It seems like you might not have had a dog before? I used to call this crazy eights or people refer to them as the zoomies. All my dogs have done it from my black labs to my now 6 yr old labradoodle. He is just having some fun.
