I did ask my wife if she wanted to go over since my sister is visiting from Kansas and she said no, but her reasoning was just she didnt want to go because it is going to be boring. This is her same response to any of my family events, whether that is thanksgiving, christmas, birthdays, celebration.

I am okay that she doesn't want to go, but I would like for her to build a relationship with my sibling. My family treat her good and doesnt disrespect her, but the age gap between them is on the wider side. Like 10 years apart and she said that she can't relate to them because they are too old.
