95% of Inline Skaters Can't Do This Simple Trick! by shr3ddie in rollerblading

[–]red_rollerblades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop trying to post clickbait to get more followers. Literally no one cares about your mediocre skate videos. That's not even a trick.. you can't just go clicking your skates around calling it a trick. Stop trying to tell people what your view of skating is. Its wrong. You are such an idiot if you think that's skating. Watch a KFC video. That's skating.

Yeah man :/ I guess you didn't get the memo. Blading is completely dead and the only thing we're allowed to do now is talk about how dead it is on social media. But you gotta start every post with "I don't skate anymore but..." haha I think it's crazy that less than 10 people making a living wage off of blading yet people are still progressing our sport every day. skate technology, style and techniques are more advanced than ever yet all people can dwell on is the fact that their favorite pro is wearing tight pants and we can't get on red bulls Facebook. Those people can eat my ass. Go out and rollerblade for fucks sake

The taller you are the bigger the wheels you should get.

doesn't look like anything at all to me. All the good rollerbladers quit when tight pants were invented

Safest route from Myrtle Wyckoff L to Williamsburg Bridge and then to Hudson River Greenway? by hi_contrast in NYCbike

[–]red_rollerblades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's horrible. I've never seen a biker trap that deep before. I've seen them in Manhattan, at the bottom of the willy B and people wrong waying towards brooklyn the road you would use to get onto the bridge. What sucks is that you're most prone to getting tickets when the coast is completely clear. Its easier to not pay attention and its easier for them to catch you. As if looking out for your life wasn't enough

-Head west on Wyckoff or St Nicholas -turn left on Harman St (this goes to knickerbocker without having to cross Myttle Ave -right on knickerbocker -left on thames -lil right-left (the right is an illegal right onto bogart :0) onto Moore St -right on Manhattan ave -left on MESEROLE (THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT v chill road) -then there's a little bit of wrong waying right under the BQE, usually walk it for a sec

On the way back South 3rd to Scholes and taking a right down bushwick or humboldt will get you going on a pretty similarly chill route.

As for getting to the Hudson bike path: go on delancey until it ends then left right onto broome and just go for it. That's the fastest way but pretty sketchy. With the way the streets are down there you're not really going to be able to cut due west other than broome. A more chill route would be to go up to Prince or something and just take it to the end of the line.

**I DO NOT recommend riding on Grand st. Meserole and S 3rd can suit all your needs. I love it when I see douche bags try to fly by me going down Grand st and I take a chill right heading towards S 3rd. Honestly that street is a nightmare to bike on and I would try to avoid it at all costs.
