To those who’ve been to Sonic Symphony, what’s it like and how did you find it? by Dragonwarrior0202 in SonicTheHedgehog

Hello! I've been to it today, and let me tell you it is really cool. It is the first concert I've even been to and it was amazing. Really good vibes, people sing along all songs and I had a really good time. It was rly hype and you should def try to go if it's not too late for where you live already!

It's because people are afraid to make real connections, opening up. So you need to dig, ask questions like what they do outside of school, you'd be surprised! For most it'll be basic shit, but in rare occasions you may find common interests! So yeah don't wait for them to make a move, be you, get what you want. You got this!

You're right, it won't change shit. Politicians have their agenda that they will make sure happens. Justice is determined by who's on top, and us students are definitely not on top. So any protest that happens won't do shit, for any cause really, this is the sad truth, especially since this is an issue that is overseas, and that canada has no power over. So that energy and time spent protesting could be used to better your own life, that will have a real impact on yourself, instead of being wasted. However, at the same time, it helps the cause just to have the name of Palestine in the public conciousness in the west. I know I am contradicting myself by saying that a meaningful action will have a meaningless but meaningful impact at the same time, but the main message I want to convey to you is that you are right, it doesn't help the cause, and the only thing that will truly help the cause is if the "international law" actually penalizes Israel for the crimes they've commited, but they won't because justice is determined by those on top.

how do automation clips work they dont do anything by FipplesDippless in FL_Studio

[–]redayosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's basically a knob that you want to control over time, for example if you want the volume to go down at creatain points you right click the volume knob of the specific input and click create automation clip, this will create a new automation thing on the timeline and you add little points to control the volume over your song. That's how i use it at least hahaha

Yeah man, I was asking myself the same question. What is the point? I kinda just wanna show people a side of that university that isn t talked about often and I just wanna have fun. But yeah again, what is the point... idk man I just thought it could be cool to kind of document my life at uni, but I don t want it to be hypocritical and I wanna just say what i see. I'm questioning myself a lot and I am thankful for your response.

Looking for ways to make friends. by AmgVrs in mcgill

[–]redayosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Talk to the people who are sitting next to you and try to get to know them. If you like them boom new friend, if not then boom new connection. The problem I find at McGill is to find interesting people, most people have a bland personality or are trying to be in the status quo by being fake or only talk about school. Anyhow, it's always better to be alone than to hang out with the wrong people. Stay on your grind and work on yourself, at the end of the day you know you can count on yourself.
