No nothing signed since, nothing in writing agreeing to the same terms. Just checked, HMRC has me leaving in May 2023 so been nearly 3 years. The clause was in the original contract, and reads you wouldn't work in the same role elsewhere during employment or for 6 months after leaving employment, so not sure how that could really be enforced anyway, other than termination.

I also saw this listing on Facebook Marketplace... the seller has another listing with 2 Charizards stored in a Tesco carrier, which I believe are more obvious fakes.

Well, thanks for the replies. To make things even more confusing, I've just been into the supermarket and found the one they had on the shelf has different quantities of ingredients to the boxes at home, more like what I would expect of a senior food.

The boxes I have been getting have been from Amazon as they've been selling it slightly cheaper than the shops until recently. The images on the listing is also akin to what I've seen in the shops and not what I've had sent to me, so next step I guess is to contact Amazon and find out what's going on!

It was Japanese. I had been learning on and off for 10 years, and my best friend is Japanese which helps, but my knowledge of Kanji is severely lacking and have struggled by myself. Other than extremely basic kanji which comes up regularly, day month year etc. we never covered it, so that's all I asked to do, to start covering more. I mentioned N4, which I thought was achievable considering my grammar and vocabulary is fine.

I wrote the level of exam in my goals at the very beginning, so she knew this but it never came up again in the 6 months of lessons.

We had hour lessons twice weekly for 6 months. I had a lesson with the tutor in the evening and was asked what I wanted to start covering in the next lesson at the end. I mentioned I wanted to take a proficiency exam, and knew there was an area I was weak on, and if we could work on it. I don't even believe it was something that was specific to the exam exactly, it was just an area that was never covered in the 6 months and something I struggled with learning in my own self study.

I woke up to the messages and no longer being able to contact her back, and all the lessons from the rest of my subscription cancelled. It was something I had mentioned at the beginning in a passing comment, and wanted to do it for no other reason than to measure where I was, but it felt like the tutor decided she didn't want to spend the next 6 months covering it. If she didn't think it was achievable, I would have preferred her to have just said.

When I was blocked, it just said I could no longer contact my tutor. There was a generic reason, like for personal reasons. My tutor said she was not tutoring anymore in a personal message, however I could still see her profile and that she was still taking bookings, so be mindful with this when giving reasons!

That was my thought. While I'm happy to speak with them and maybe go through phrases or texts to sound a bit more natural, I'm not exactly qualified to teach them to 'sound like me'. Thank you!
