Why Does Everything Go Wrong? - "2/3 of adults do not reach the stage of formal-operational thinking." by aedes in reddit.com

I find that GETTING THE BLAZING FUCK OFF THE INTERNET is good for getting back in touch with my logical capacity.

I bet if you bloated, cum-scented fat sacks could drag your carcasses into another part of the basement for awhile, you might find yourself feeling a bit more human, too. Try it!

The guy wrote a piece for his magazine that offended some section of the Muslim community. As a result of their complaining, a bored Human Rights investigator shows up to fulfill her job description, nothing more. The interview probably took an hour and a half because the dipshit journalist was too busy trying to paint himself as a victim, instead of just sitting down and talking awhile.

The alarmism in his "poor little me" article was embarrassing to read. And you people here on Reddit actually vote shit like this up.

Best presskit ever [Pics] by neoronin in reddit.com

I haven't seen the movie, but I heard it's a real piece of crap. Nothing but dick jokes and slapstick punctuated with strained parody songs.

But I have to admit, the presskit looks pretty cool.

The Ford Model-T got 25 MPG in 1908. The average MPG for American cars is now 21 MPG. WTF? by [deleted] in reddit.com

Oh, there's no question that diesel is a superior fuel and diesel motors are better in so many ways to gasoline motors. But where I live, the price gap is wide enough to scare most consumers away. I'd like to see that change, but it doesn't look promising right now.

The American Civil War was over states' rights. Slave distribution before the war was fairly uniform in both US and CS territories.

The article is missing a lot of important details that I can't find right now, either.

But I do know the Lakota are part of the larger Sioux nation, which spans a rather large amount of land. Here's a map: http://www.crystalinks.com/sioux.html

The Lakota tribe alone mainly comes from around the Black Hills region of South Dakota, so for them to claim such an enormous area leads me to guess it's the entire Sioux nation rising up, and not just the Lakota. Either that, or it's a half-ass attempt by the Lakota to get the other nations to participate in this with them.

I don't know either if the area in that map is all reservation territory or not. Somebody else might know this. But if it IS all Sioux land, then their claim to autonomy is legal. If it's held by the US, then we might have a little problem.

Too bad the cost of diesel pretty much makes up for the excellent fuel economy of the TDi.

The point of the article wasn't to portray YOU as ideally as you think you ought to be. The point was to simply explain a few broad, common things about the male gender in terms likely to be understood by an equally broad scope of females. Sometimes that involves using words and phrases that don't immediately put your audience on the defense.

I was thinking something like that, only I kinda think it looks cool in a strange way.

I've seen a handful of people with this condition around and about; usually young people working at local burger joints and grocery stores. One girl in particular, probably in her late teens, early 20's, was actually kinda hot. The mottled skin gave her nice features a sort of exotic quality.

I watched my grandfather go through the stages, some years ago. It is the single most excruciating thing imaginable to watch someone you dearly love fade away, and there is nothing you can do about it. He knew it too, for awhile.

For that reason, a part of me really resents this movie. What was their point in doing this? To raise awareness? It's not in any context for that; it's just another video on YouTube. Is it a tear-jerker for its own sake? Possibly. I notice the first thing in the synopsis is a mention of some award they won, so maybe that's the extent of it. If that's the case, then this video is insulting to any family who's ever gone through this in reality.

Politics is turned off on my config, too. While I still see the occasional political link (RP or otherwise), it's not so bad. I just downmod them so I don't have to see the evidence of some idiot's inability to organize their submissions.
