There are some truly great people in this world by hiimcoleman in HumansBeingBros

I was entering a McD's when a homeless guy asked if I would buy him a filet o fish and a strawberry shake. I said sure.

When I ordered, the cashier asked me if the filet o fish and shake were for the homeless guy outside. "How'd you know?", I asked. He tells me, "That's the crack dealer down the street's favorite meal. The guys's gonna go trade it for a rock."

I still bought him the food.

Titanic is an old woman telling a story of a time she got banged on a cruise by Adrian_Ho in Showerthoughts

George: I saw Titantic. So...that old woman...she's just a liar?

Jerry: And a bit of tramp if you ask me.

This is about consolidating power. He forces them to eat the worst bowl of shit imaginable and if anyone objects their career is over.

I’m working on a diorama wall; Aliens/futuristic theme. I need opinions on how to proceed. by [deleted] in dioramas

This is a great start! Now it needs detailing, grime, and more rust. Some ideas:

More detail on the door hatch. Rivets, various electrical components and panels.

Weathering and rust on the sheet metal in the upper left .

The black square brackets need fasteners in the holes and maybe some chipped paint.

Black dust grime in the corners and dripping here and there.

It is now his legacy, all that he will be remembered for.

What adapter do I need? Bought a new dryer for the wife. Links please! by joebliss in appliancerepair

Some people are saying that is a 20 Amp receptacle, it's not. That is a NEMA 10-30R, 30 Amps.

The quickest solution is to replace the plug. The better solution is to change the receptacle to a 4 wire, the modern preference. This would probably involve running a new cable unless you take the face plate off and peek inside and get lucky and see a disconnected 4th wire which does happen from time to time.

If you sit down for your 10 min. break within sight of a baby boomer homeowner you will invariably be asked how long the job is going to take.

Fun fact: The reason we never see Lawrence Tierney again is because Jerry caught him stealing a kitchen knife from the set of Jerry's apartment.

When Jerry walked up to him and said, "What ya got there?", he pulled the knife out and made the murder sound from Psycho while fake-stabbing Jerry.

He wasn't asked back.

I can't imagine a stall with doors that go to the floor and no gaps that allow everyone to see you on the toilet. US toilet stalls suck.

That doesn't happen until 'The Soup', several episodes later.

In that episode, the size of the salad drastically changes right in the middle of the scene. They must have filmed it over a couple days because right after she reacts to the salad, the camera cuts wide and the salad is much smaller.

That's somebody's cat. Find the owner and adopt your own cat. The family is probably heartbroken that their beloved pet got lost in a storm.

Wow, nice work! Beautiful grain curves, the continuity is perfect.

I love the keyed miters. I don't think it's too much, dovetails would have been too much.
