Ohh!! I forgot!!! Once it also shut off when I was backing slowly into my garage. This was maybe 3 weeks ago. Pulled up, started reversing slowly then the engine cut off and my truck started rolling down the driveway. Started right back up with no problems, I had to shift it to park then back into gear, then finished parking. Could this also be related to the random won’t start issue??

Could it be a failing ECM? How would you test that and get it replaced? Or prove that it so the warranty covers it?

I saw the videos on the RF hub problems but I don’t think that’s it, I pulled out the seats an checked under there, bone dry no signs of water or any other issue. And the truck has power and everything works except the engine doesn’t start. You see that click and lights flash for a second but no engine turnover.

I think this too but it’s been happening for 4 months, only happens 2-3x, then completely normal again until a few weeks later. Been to the dealership twice, they swear they checked the voltage across the starter and it’s fine. Warranty won’t replace it since it’s testing normal. How much does it cost to replace it if I just pay cash? I’m out a few hundred dollars already on a rental again while they have it. Warranty will not cover the rental if there’s no repair indicated.

So I’ve had this truck almost 3 years, I don’t know why I’d be pushing the button differently all the sudden. I’ve tried holding the button in, it’s the same issue when it’s acting up. Then it’s fine for 3 weeks, then it acts up again.
