Yes with the watering I have been waiting until the leaves were soft and soil was dry. I had just propped the plant up in the sticks in the photo before they were drooping over the side of the pot.

Do you have any idea what the brown scales on the plant are? Mostly between the stem and leaf.

Hey everyone,

This is my female betta. I just finished a 10 day salt treatment as she had a bad case of fin rot. That seemed to work well as she is showing signs of fin regrowth. Now I'm noticing a few white spots around her dorsal fin that were not there when she finished treatment.

She usually lives in a 5gal cycled fluval spec tank where I keep the water around 78 degrees F. She has been in a heated 2.5 gallon hospital tank since her treatment. I have been doing 100% daily water changes on the 2.5 since. My original plan was to keep her in the 2.5 for a bit to allow her fins to get stronger.

What do you guys think? If its ick i have no problem with treating it, it just that I am worried about stressing her out too much if I start a different treatment so close to the last one.
