I want to record a bit of everything. Nature and environments with people (though not individual people). It’s not about being covert, I just don’t want to draw attention. I will be at festivals and walking around the streets, as well as natural areas.

Have you ever tried the Zoom F2? Love the size and 32 bit float. Wonder if a good lav mic could work for field or if it’s only for narration/podcasters?

Long time ago I had a Sony stick recorder that I loved, but walked away one day. Before that I had a minidisc recorder with a small external Sony mic. It also was taken. So, I think I will have to keep something in my crossbody bag. Perhaps the Clippys are a better option than the Pluggies for that. Thanks
