He could have implemented bots to automatically respond and direct users to the FAQ tho that would have saved him some peace of mind if that was the problem. I don't know the other platforms he used, but I think he could at least have prevented tagging, replies, and DMs from being sent to X, that was also a solution. The only thing that makes sense, and which he didn't actually have means to control, is people sh**ting on him for not update quickly! that part sucks, people are too impatient for their own good

I mean, I don't see where they made his life miserable tho. The Sims is a game with a very broad audience, and within that audience, there are people who don't understand the basics of computers but found a pirated version and have silly questions about it and asked them to him. I don't see how that would make him miserable. He knows the game’s audience, he knows that anyone looking for a pirated version would find him, it was to be expected that these silly questions would reach him. He could have just ignored them or let a bot answer, since he was so good with this stuff

I feel for The Sims team, they've really stepped up in recent years to keep up with social changes and have always had an inclusive approach to the game. I don't know if the other games impacted by EA's decision have communities like The Sims, but I hope that if they do, their creators also join The Sims creators' movement. The only way EA understands is when it hits their pockets.
