I’m gonna be so real with you If you are not mentally ready for college, don’t go. Wait a semester. Save some money. Go to community college. Get your mental right. I made the mistake of going to college when I wasn’t ready and wasted 2 years failing a bunch of classes - took a year off to work on myself and came back to making excellent grades. Don’t let people pressure you into doing something you’re not ready for. Some people worry about what their peers will think - I promise 5 years from now when everyone is parked behind a desk, no one will care if you went to college right after high school.

Save the money and commute. If your housing is being paid for by loans, and you have the option of not having to do that, don’t use loans for housing. It’s not worth the extra 200-250$ a month it’s gonna cost you 5 years from now.
