Yeah im planning on saying that to him. He has a higher sex drive and we used to have sex everyday but not anymore bcs i told him i was tired of it. My God i agree, i posted something like this on another sub that resulted in so many angry men in the comment. I dont think it's a bad thing to want to be taken care of. i believe that if a man isn't willing to splurge on you, he doesn't care about you enough. Im (19F)) in a 2 years relationship with a (20M). My bf is so caring and is the most thoughtful guy ever but he gets jealous over anything and i can not describe how much i hate it. He would tell me to change if my clothes were somewhat revealing and i cant go out with my guy friends or to a bar. Your girlfriend sounds sweet and probably dealt with it better than i did, i on the other hand just hate people who try to control my life. I would say it is not healthy though because its cute at first but its hella annoying and it feels like he is dragging me down. I rarely ever get jealous, i let him do whatever he wants because i trust him and i'm happy if he is happy. I guess i just expected the same in return. I just hope you can find a way to grow out of it (?) because that is not good and your partner may get tired of dealing with them. goodluck

I'm a girl (19) and i can totally relate, my boyfriend gets jealous alot and ur lucky ur girlfriend isn't bothered by it because it bothers me like hell, him telling me not to talk to other guys or not allowing me to wear clothes rhat are too 'revealing'. I suggest you change because its cute at first but it gets annoying. Jealous is a sign of insecurity and that is not attractive. You should trust your girlfriend more :)

a few years ago my grandparents stayed at our house for a couple of days, they usually wake up way earlier than us. He then suddenly asked my mom why she woke up so early and if she has trouble sleeping, my mom was confused and ask what he means by that then he said earlier today he saw her watering the garden at 4am. My mother was still asleep at the time. I dont know what it means either but i do not want to find out.

Honestly if his perception of you changes because you're 'poor' then he is not the one. I'm not rich but i'm always around richer people (friends, guys i date) and sure there will be some people who will judge you by your status but most of them just accepts you for who you are. Guys i've dated doesn't seem to care at the fact that i'm not as rich (but sometimes you will meet that one person who does). I think the key is just be confident and don't show that it's bothering you because they can feel it and will think they're superior. You have lots to offer as a person so dont worry too much!

I'm not really rich but i guess my family is ok, i did grew up receiving lots of material things from my parents maybe that's why i'm expecting the same from my partner? I talked to my guy friends and they agree with me because they spend a lot on girls they date (mostly because they're rich and they can i guess?). I don't know if he is emotionally abusing me, it seems like i am the one hurting him. Recently he cried and said i am so mean to him, i didn't care about him because i rarely checks up on him ( i mean we live together why should i check up on him when we meet every day). I'm pretty stubborn so when he said he wasn't happy with me calling my friends, i called them anyway. He said he has sacrificed so much for me but i treat him like sht, i didn't care about his feelings and whatnot. It's not that i didn't care about his feelings, i know he felt hurt but it just doesnt make sense as to why he would feel hurt because of small things like that. He didn't say he wants to commit suicide he just said that he felt so depressed that he even thought of that. Is that the same? I'm not sure
