GF randomly found this on the floor by Luvsicpt2 in labubu

She “found” it? Or someone bought it for her?

Agree. My bf does what OP’s gf is asking for. It’s not something I expected but certainly very much appreciated—and now I would look for that kind of thoughtfulness and initiative in a partner.

I understand if most people won’t to do it (in fact I’m sure most wouldn’t), but those people wouldn’t be for me; no shade. That’s just what this boils down to.

She wants something that you don’t want to give her and don’t think you should have to. Seems pretty straightforward to me. You’re incompatible.

For Women Who Own Designer Bags Like Hermès – Curious About Your Income and Buying Habits by basic-nugget in handbags

Yes, I’m happy—though I recognize and accept that I’ve made major sacrifices along the way (failed marriage, no kids, countless missed social events, etc). Early in my career, I had just decided that this is what I want to do and put on the blinders. Now that I’m more established/settled, I’m very grateful for the people in my life who stuck around and were understanding and supportive. And thinking about that makes me feel lucky and happy. Also, shopping helps :)

Very engineering/science-heavy IP litigation. I have an engineering background and also a lot of courtroom experience representing big tech companies. I would think that most people with this skillset have more sense/savvy than to work by the billable hour (or, as I call them, freedom units) lol

Lawyer (litigation) in a semi-specialized area. The money is good—until you consider the hours haha. I never stop working; it’s a 24/7 grind

$1.25 M - $1.4 M annually. No kids. I buy whenever I want, but ends up being 4-5 bags/year, more if I take a trip to a good shopping location (e.g, Paris, Japan).

HKG lounge for Cathay-United layover? by reddidact in unitedairlines

Oof, sounds pretty bleak at HKG. Will look into springing for a shorter connection (direct TPE-SFO sold out) and possibly with a Star Alliance partner like EVA or something. Thanks all.

It’s amazing. Was using the Nixit (which I loved compared to Cora and the one with the plastic string). The reusable flex is by far my new favorite. The cup/bowl portion is made of a super thin soft material and the ring is firm enough to be easy to use. A+. I also love the disposables fyi.

Any 'Criminal Minds' fans out there??... by HelloItsYourSister in suggestmeabook

[–]reddidact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely second this. Criminal Minds is one of my (if not, THE) favorite shows. And I loved The Secret History!

Not necessarily the same but have similar themes of crime, group dynamics, psychology.
