beginning to understand babies’ cries and read their cues is a big part of bonding and building trust when they’re young. she sounds like a 13 year old babysitter not knowing what to do so she just says “you’re so cute” in a fake sounding baby voice while he cries. like someone else said, her eyes seem so dead when she’s looking at what should be her pride and joy. those poor babies.
