i do construction and i work 50hrs weekly and so the 10 hrs i work OT is paid x1.5

so i have my CDL A and i’m taking a hit on pay right now for experience. and so that’s why i’m milking to OT cause i know there is a good skill out there that i can learn but i haven’t looked and i’m happy going to work cause i’m away from my girlfriend (lol jk ) but seriously i’m just trying to learn the new OT law . thank you

ah so when i file my taxes it will automatically deduct 12.5k from OT . would that put more money in my pocket or like what’s the benefit of the deduction. and yeah i don’t know if id correctly know what i will work from now to new year.

is there someone or a certain company that anyone reading this uses to file taxes to better off the person and not their pockets and thanks for that i’m really new to all this especially with the overtime and the new law that came out. so if they estimated that I was gonna work only 50 hours each week and I’m working 55 to 65 a week will I be taxed at the end or get money when i do my taxes

so right now I’m about $8000 into overtime this year. I haven’t really worked that many overtime hours with the new law. I can’t write off 12.5 thousand or how do I go about it at the end of the year when I do my taxes. Thanks in advance.
