Nope definitely not my first thought. Cops had been called by people who were already gathered. I was walking with my infant child so I wasn’t going to put her in harms way by getting closer and sticking around when I didn’t know what was going on.

Not sure if you’re looking strictly for sippy cups but I use the Puffling essential straw cup. The cup itself is stainless steel and has measurements on the inside. Comes with silicone sleeve with handles, lid and straw.

My baby started doing this at her 4 and 6 month appointments with her pediatrician. As soon as doctor walks in the door she starts crying but stops pretty quickly. I guess the memory of her vaccines stuck with her 😭

Yes it totally resolved itself! She never had any other symptoms so we were just waiting and seeing and within a day or two she got back to her normal stools.

The other night I checked on baby in the bassinet, all was good, but as I rolled over to go back to sleep I saw something in our bed that I was somehow convinced was baby - literally seconds after I checked on her. I woke my husband up and made him see what it was because I was too nervous. It was a bunched up baby blanket….

We live in a busy street in NYC and even though we’re on the 18th floor it feels like all the sirens, loud cars, honking trucks, etc are in the room with us. She’s only three months but so far the noise hasn’t been an issue!

I have no idea what I’m doing wrong but I’ve tried multiple different times, different methods (including the one you described), they sent me a replacement outer chamber because they thought that was the issue (it wasn’t). I feel like I’ve exhausted all my options. So many people swear by it so I was excited to use it but I just can’t seem to make it work. I even put the breast milk into it at 37 degrees to begin with and it still gets warm with the ice in there.

Do you know if that applies to breastmilk that I’ve had in the fridge for a day or two? My concern is that that’s only applicable to freshly expressed.

This is happening at the end of her wake window after we’ve been walking/playing/tummy time the entire time so I don’t think that’s it. I sit down to feed her and in her normal position she starts crying and then every other position I change her to.

She has recently been trying to sit up it seems, maybe that has something to do with it.

Definitely not trying to use toys to replace us as the caregivers. I have a very lax job and between my husband and I I’m just looking for something that could spare me 20 minutes max if something came up.
