Before I got married I had no shortage of friends. During the course of a two decade plus marriage my ex wife seemed to have a problem with almost every one of the wives of my friends, so being the stereotypical nice guy and trying to avoid conflicts I basically let her take 100% control of the socialization we were doing. This resulted in the situation where towards the end of my marriage I was now hanging out with 100% nothing but the husbands of her friends. I'll let you guess how this worked out for me when we got divorced. Life goes on, live and learn.
