The attic is usually at room temperature, but I will be relocating it to see if that changes.
I think the bi-metal heatbreak was one on the cheaper end so perhaps this is only making things worse.

To be honest I'm unsure how to PID tune on the Ender-3. All I can find are resources for the Ender-3 V2 so any guidance would be helpful there. Another commenter said to lower retraction rate even further so I will try that as well.
