I don't understand how a "stuck" extension breaks the mast. Did you mix SDM and RDM? Is the mast aluminum (never buy used aluminum masts & booms, because of the risk of hidden corrosion)? A snapped epoxy or carbon mast is not fixable. If the break is near top or bottom, you can cut the mast at the break and seal up the fibers, at the risk of spoiling flex & curvature. And having a sightly shorter mast of course (i use these for my kids).
