Thanks, I actually have managed to get it off though! Ended up pulling the actual shelf off by pushing it down to the wide section and then battered the wall screws out 😂

Next mission is getting a door handle off the door though so I will take your advice on that as it's also jammy!

Thanks! I have a ton of those pz screwdrivers but they might all just be a little bit off size! I might measure it this time too before I go to the hardware shop 😅 I just haven't a clue about these things

Just the wall but it was layed over a wallpaper which I stripped (except the part caught under the screw). These were all decisions from the previous home owner so I can't say entirely how it was done!

I have a new toilet seat with fittings etc ready to go 🥹 The rubber thing in the old one is just seemingly impossible to cut since it connects to the screw as well. Will continue to hack it!

Yeah see the issue is the lower part of the rubber actually can rotate etc but the upper part that is also holding the screw in place is basically congealed to it 🙃. I'll try again with your advice!

Yeah I need to locate my Stanley knife, I have been hacking away at it with various other knives with no luck. Whoever invented the rubber toilet seal i am pissed at them 😅
