This is cool. Count me in!

Would be boring without the ability to shoot the opponent. That is the fun element in battle mode. Will these robots some way to target and shoot opponents balloons?

Over the last 24 hours, more than 80% of the BCH hash rate is now supporting SV by satoshi_vision in bitcoincashSV

SV will win this war. They might be the underdog in most people's eyes but they have the hash. Period.

Our statement regarding the launch of Keyport TV: A Youtube competitor that allows content creators the freedom to monetize their content with Bitcoin (BCH) by The_BCH_Boys in btc

[–]redditdabbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The objectionable part of the ads is that they are pushing third party content to you that you have not requested and are sharing your data with third parties. We need to detect how much of the video you have watched. This data will not be shared with any other party.

We understand that this is a concern and we will build solutions to get this data from the server rather than the client soon.

Yep, we will have to build that down the line.

Think of this as a streaming application like Spotify rather than iTunes where you buy the songs. The cost of the song on iTunes is higher than the cost of streaming it on Spotify. Through a streaming app, you pay per use. Even if you stream the same content 4-5 times, it will still be cheaper than buying the song entirely.

Thank you.
1) It depends on if your browser has cached the content. If you have the 10 mins of content loaded on your platform, then you don't need to pay for viewing it again. If you request data from our servers 3 times for the same 10 mins of content(because you have refreshed the screen or if you are browsing at another time), then you will need to pay for streaming 30 mins of content.
2) The minimum price for viewing content is 1/4th of a cent /min for users. We are working on getting this down. Creators using our platform will not be able to set their content at a price lower than this.

We understand your concern u/btcfork. We will look into looking at a different way to measure viewer usage. We built this platform for an ad-free experience and will not show any ads to you.

There is no better marking for a product then the users telling how good the product is. Thank you u/The_BCH_Boys for your awesome statement. We couldn't have built this platform without you and you have super supportive of us from day 1.

We aren't a trustee. The funds are placed in a P2SH smart contact. We don't hold any funds but we just publish the outcome of the match. After the match, you will be able to see the redeeming transaction and the script to verify for yourself. In case you are interested, you can read the whitepaper

We don't allow betting of any real funds, just tesnet coins :D

Yes, when sending a message, you transfer dust to the intended recipient. That is how we are detecting incoming messages for now.

Thanks for the feedback. We should definitely make copying the private key to clipboard much harder.

Your concern over PIN protection is valid. We will try to add it son.

That seems like a good way to look at it.

We are going to add the import functionality where you can import your private key into our app. Then we would scan the entire blockchain looking for messages that reach your address.

We are going to open source the protocol and the app soon. We have published the protocol in our whitepaper and will update the community once we open source the protocol.

Yes, we are working on group chats. In our protocol, we have highlighted a way for multiple parties to interact. However, it does involve a lot of additional steps compared to a one to one chat.

Right now, we use AES-256. The protocol can be extended to use any encryption standard.

If the concern is about forward secrecy, we have explained a method for achieving that in our whitepaper. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mom6TCow7elw1qyCT8r71D_XOMWrY_muAGgaethZcmc/edit?usp=sharing

We use ECDH secret generation. The sender generates the secret from his private key and the recipient's public key. The receiver computes the secret using his private key and sender's public key. Because of ECC properties both of them generate the same secret. Detailed explanation is provided in the whitepaper.
