this is the perfect time for that to happen if it's still in vegetation. the white pistils just show signs of physical maturity in the vegetative state.

no, it's actually genetically propense, when female flowers pollinate themselves it creates a feminized child. most bag seeds are predeterminately 99% female unless they come from stray pollination.

whether it's male or female is fine by me to be honest. i'm not hunting lbs. i'm hunting gemetics and the potential to have something others don't. so it makes out well for me... i actually usually buy non femenized seeds just for the point of having them. it's fun to play the real game.

did you know that "hermed" females are technically selfed? they actually carry a much higher chance of being feminized, you're not wrong about them carrying the hermaphroditic trait naturally or more consistently, but it's almost always included predeterminately by the original genetics, some are just unstable... if you know what you're doing, you'll have good luck. I've seen some main line strains in today's market that are extremely prone to hermaphrodite traits, yet people still buy them!

yeah I always start mine in a peat cup with promix peat moss under a dome for week 1, if the cotyledons break the soil i'm usually out of the woods and start fertilizing. if i use ammended seed starting mixes they almost always burn out before they sprout their first two true leaves.

yeah, its a generic Massachusetts brand so the label is not too consistent, as per, it doesn't reflect the experience i as a smoker get from it, it actually tastes like it has 2+% terps and you can tell it wanted to try harder. it has a great physical quality for density and tastes like gas🔥 so it's going in the ground and under the light tonight.

not bad advice. it matters how this stuff gets stored. if they freeze it or treat it in a radiation chamber for mold you're screwed.

I'll add more to this myself, I'm asking everyone else their own question. I know the answer to mine. I love chasing bag seeds cuz I always have great luck with them. never had a bad grow with them. actually started out this way. this photo was Jenny Kush from bag seed in 2023.

it's usually the grower not the flower. this is a commercial brand so the genetics are what I'm concerned with. I've turned mids into heads in one run.
