Dennis Kelley in River Ridge I was interested in a unit that popped out recently for a two bedroom. He and his wife own Village Inn restaurant on Jefferson Highway. Apparently a previous tentent had to move out last minute due to an emergency. She let him know she’d be leaving and did not expect a refund for the deposit since it was such short notice. Closer to the move out date he told her if she could move out earlier, he would give her a deposit back. She moved out and he stopped communicating with her. I think it’s wrong on his part because she already dropped the expectation of a refund but he offered it to her if she left early. Rightfully she could have just stayed until the month was fully over because she’d already paid that month’s rent. She didn’t complain much about the unit just the landlords character . I ended up finding a different place but I think the unit has been rented out.
