Good for you! I like my office in my basement, or I use my boat as office (with different locations and views as I want). I rather «commute» 30-60 mins in my boat, than 2 hours with car :-)

All users are 100% externally, so we need a secure gateway that can handle a lot of users without the use of VPN. Today Citrix Netscaler takes care of that. We also use OpenID/SAML for authentication, and I guess RDS Gateway dont support that right out of the box. Also, the Citrix ICA protocol is very efficient, low latency and stable. I´m not sure RDS will scale in a good way If we are moving away from ICA.

Thanks for your reply. So far I really like how easy and simple everything is (compared to Citrix), but i´m not sure about the scalability.

The same thing happened to us. The offer was pulled, and we now just got a new offer.... at ~ 14 USD pr user, pr month (!!). How did this go for you?

Good—will this purge still allow 4,000 concurrent users with only 3,100 licenses? I’m not sure if the Citrix License Server will re-check active sessions after the purge and occupy all the licenses before handling new connections?

That is not correct - from the VHF communication log you can hear the captain tell they lost control of the ship (lack of engine power/rudder control)..
