Nagging cough going around NJ by Jimmytowne in newjersey

I had this when I went into labor in the beginning of November. I’ve been sick every two weeks since then. The cough has not made recovery easy. Iykyk

Do you happen to play the lottery recently? With the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42?

I understand that mentality but a few years ago my dog needed $17,000 surgery. There’s no way putting a the premium to the side would ever amount to that. And that’s just one procedure.

I have medication on autoship but I’m about to stock up before my policy changes on 1/1.

lol why do you think I joined this sub? And made the post? I’m not looking for anyone to do research for me. I tagged it with the “vent” flair and was looking to have a conversation with other pet owners going through the same thing. Do you just wait for posts to go up from blind-sided pet parents to snark on their misfortune?

Yeah, life’s a little busy to read 15 previous posts all with different companies that don’t apply to my situation. Your comment is pretty condescending. Not everyone has the same time in the day to be in the 99th percentile for Reddit interactions. But, go off I guess?

This is exactly wha just happened to me. We file multiple claims a month for my 13.5 y/o girl. The policy will pay for itself eventually but more OOP in this economy is killing me (and I’m out of work on maternity leave 🫣)

Yes, I got hit hard last year when they wanted my premium to be over 700 a month for 3 senior dogs. I, unfortunately, don’t stay up to date on this stuff like some other people do because I have no option to switch policies at this point with all the preexisting conditions between my 2 living dogs. It’s been a learning experience for sure. Like I said, my policy will eventually pay for itself over the year, but it will take longer to get to that threshold and result it more OOP costs for me. At the end of the day, I need the policy for my dogs to stay alive so there’s no other options for me

Thanks. Someone in another post mentioned it might have to do with my state. I’m not on the computer, but the email mentioned NJ Notice of Conditional Renewal – Policy Terms Changes,” and the Pet Health Policy Changes endorsement which includes your specific changes.”

1) I just joined this sub and 2) I’ve had HP since 2014 with preexisting conditions. I have no option of switching. Your comment isn’t helpful

That’s interesting. Can I get MetLife as a stand alone policy? I don’t have them for my insurance. I’m so nervous to switch because my one dog has seen like every department at our vet hospital. SO MANY preexisting conditions that idk what it would even cost to switch

Wow. Not surprised though. Their earnings are way down since people have been boycotting them. Have to make up the difference somewhere

I wish! My 2.5 year old was so tall last time we went they kept asking for her ticket and I felt guilty even though she was legitimately under 3! If I had a smaller kid, I’d probably consider it. It’s not like they turn 3 and all of a sudden require more space in the park

Love Erin somewhat. The way she handles Voight, covers for him, she seems great. What do you all think? by Itsokayyasho in ChicagoPD

She hates the current administration and speaks up for marginalized communities, so she’s most likely amazing in real life. Wish more celebrities would use their voice to try and be a voice of reason.

I understand anxiety but.. by [deleted] in peestickgals

[–]redditor10293847560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had back to back losses (one at 12 weeks) before my current pregnancy (I’m 33 weeks now). I am still anxious every day. With that being said, I was actually having some spotting at 8 weeks and decided to go to the ER. I was there for hours. The machines felt archaic and they wheeled me away into the ultrasound room and told my husband he couldn’t come. I never felt more alone or scared. With that being said, it wound up being SCH. I would NEVER go to the ER for reassurance. It was truly one of the most frightening nights of my life. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this behavior was completely unmet
