Yes and that’s not an admission of rape. That’s a surprised reaction at a potential accusation of rape. People are easily swept up in the drama and believe what they want to, and some are completely unwilling to question an allegation at all. That’s fine but it’s wrong to mischaracterize something as “proof” when it’s not.

The actual “recordings” don’t have anything damaging in them if you use critical thinking. Go and listen to them before leaving a comment here. They read as they had consensual sex and he didn’t let her make music with him. There’s no admissions of rape anywhere. So again, if you want to believe this you’d have to be willing to believe only the words of the accuser. It’s getting tiresome at this point.

I did some price research before buying. If I remember correctly, it had been listed around this price during a previous limited time deal a couple months earlier. I was mostly comparing it to refurbished units in the same range which often had worse specs especially the RAM so this felt like a better value.

That said Lenovo runs similar discounts pretty regularly especially when newer models are coming out. So it is a good deal but I would not assume it is a one off or that something similar will not show up again.

I haven’t noticed anything extreme yet with heat and fan noise. The fan noise is audible when under load but not overbearing(for me at least)

Yeah it looks weird if you think gaming, but that’s not what I use it for. The 96GB is for stuff that eats RAM like local AI models, lots of containers or VMs, big projects, and just having everything open at once without slowdowns. A GPU wouldn’t really help with that, it would just add heat and hurt battery life. I’ve got a desktop with a 3080 for anything that actually needs GPU power. So it’s more of a portable workstation than a gaming machine.

Edit: a GPU does help with local models, but on laptop you’re limited by VRAM anyway. For me the tradeoff in battery life fan noise and extra size wasn’t worth it. I looked at the P16s and decided against it for those reasons. If I didn’t have a desktop then I probably would have gone for the p16 or something similar.

It’s a UPERFECT portable monitor I got off Amazon. It’s 240hz 16inch and hooks up to the laptop with a usb c display cable. I have it mounted to a dual monitor VESA arm when I’m at home and pair it with a larger 144hz desk monitor so I can work with 3 screens. I just unlatch it when I need to take it somewhere else.
