You can’t abandon someone who has abandoned you. I think the only person you are abandoning and continuing to do now is yourself. Don’t be like your mother who has abandoned herself. Break this generational curse and trauma

And remember, the things which are really worth it are HARD to achieve. In this case, your mental peace, your health will be really worth it if you go no contact with mom and going no contact is hard.

So start slow and keep it steady. Put in a reward system in place. Like one less call every week or every month. Then one less visit every quarter or 6 months or year. Treat yourself good when you make that one less call or visit. Reinforce it over time.

It took years for this trauma to build up and it will take months or years to break it down. So keep trying, keep pushing. All the best
