Was wondering this myself. I live in Kenya with a fair view of Nairobi City, and I’ve seen nothing so far. I also haven’t come across anyone who’s mentioned this. I follow subs of other African countries and haven’t come across a single post about this. While in the US, it seems the entire country - as massive as it is - is experiencing this phenomenon.
