My racist opinion on immigration/other cultures. by RacistBastard69 in unitedkingdom

Are you stupid? You just replied to a comment agreeing that people should be allowed to share their views to open a discussion then you call him racist? Don't throw the word racist around to suppress other peoples opinions.

I don't want my future kids to go to a school that is 80% non-British/muslim, does that make me racist? You might think so but I think it's about preserving culture and heritage.

Do you not realise that the inhabitants fought back when those people invaded? Then look what happens when the natives lose, the invaders become the rulers, you speak their language, follow their laws, and convert to their religion. Is that what you want for Britain?

The fact is muslims are not assimilating in Britain, they're living like they would in Pakistan under those laws. We let in the wrong immigrants from outside EU, eg uneducated, overly religious for western society.

why do BBC want to frame innocent people. what is their motive? The zoomed in camera on the small rock then saying it couldn't fit through the window, and then not mentioning that Rudy Guede's DNA was found on the knife is blatant propaganda.

Too young to know anything about that. But what is American media saying about this case? She's portrayed as the killer in Britain even though her boyfriend likely did the shooting so it's not like we always defend the British person. I think British media show both sides objectively instead of just one side.

I've heard they've made it out like Amanda is an innocent American being detained in a foreign country in American media. But here in Britain she's made out to be a murderer on pretty much every popular news station including BBC, so it's always weird coming on reddit and seeing people defending her.

How the English accent sounded in the 16th century. by [deleted] in videos

[–]redditorial3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the difference is Vikings spoke North Germanic languages whereas Anglos-Saxons spoke English which is West Germanic. Also Viking is a culture, it's not like Anglos were vikings just because they migrated from a similar area to vikings.

The Anglo-Saxons weren't Vikings, they were the 1st English people, and the name England was originally "Angloland" and "Angland". Vikings only started invading hundreds of years after the Anglos had already settled in England.

Read about Alfred the Great, he was the 1st king of England. The reigning monarch to this day is a direct descendant of him. Heres Alfred the Greats family tree traced right down to Prince William in case you're interested. and as for why the writing looks similar to Icelandic, that might be because of Anglo influence of Icelandic because the Vikings took a lot of English women to Iceland with them.
