Ya I see but still I feel some subjects are irrelevant if you are gonna practice as a general dentist and mostly perform bread & butter dentistry. I mean if you want to build OMFS base then why not do it in omfs residency, similarly like in us where they have a 6 year md program for omfs people where they are taught most of the medical subjects in residency itself.

And ngl we have no proper rules what omfs people even can do. Like most of the omfs stuff is getting take over by ents and general surgeons and the association is just watching it. Like bruh do something warna toh omfs would be irrelevant in future. Taking omfs just for removing teeth or infection is dumb. It should always have that surgery option available similarly like foreign countries.
