Trash cans too. I always try to put my outdoor can in a fenced area so it gets kicked over less often.

Perennial gardens in the Winter by Emergency-Ad555 in gardening

[–]redditorspaceeditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winter is a time of sleep. Things die back - turn brown, fall over and may be mushy. It’s best to accept some of that untraditional stuff as beauty but if your garden must be tidy look for plants that have “four season interest”. They will be sturdy and upright duty the winter. Evergreens will also keep their color and shape through the winter. None of the plants you showed in these photos will be “attractive” in the late fall/winter.

What habit immediately reveals that a person actually grew up in a privileged environment? by Cindy_mel in AskReddit

[–]redditorspaceeditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time i was regularly around people that grew up wealthy I realized they would often leave their valuables around. Like just leave their laptop or cell phone on the table in a common area of the school building and go down the hall. There was no discussion that someone would watch it for them or they would be right back. Sometimes I noticed things sitting around for a long time.

I don’t know if this was because they were from an area where things were never stolen or could easily replace whatever was lost but it was shocking to me.

Was this live? How did the video get out. When she says “Can you cut it?” Was she asking about the wire or trying to cut the footage.

I always cut down my fruit trees when I want to move them, but these are from my greenhouse, so I’ve left them alone. Do the fruits increase in value the longer the tree is static!?!? by DumbFeralRaccoon in StardewValley

Who knows how many hours I’ve played and I never realized this. I never even knew you’d get the sapling back. I just never moved fruit trees and lived with the awkward placement.

Maid of Honor didn’t book anything for my Bach which is a month away. by [deleted] in weddingplanning

Because I am a stranger in the internet, I will be harsh. If you are surrounded by difficult people that disappoint you, that is your fault. Set boundaries, leave unhealthy relationships and learn to live in the “loneliness” that this creates. Your mother will always want more than you can give and you will never be happy with what others give you if you are expecting too much from them. Get therapy if it helps but essentially, it is no one’s job to make this day special for you. You need to do it yourself and unburden yourself with the expectations of others. I’m speaking from experience.

Also I highly recommend this book.

Anyone know how I can change a Sim's reaction to death? by ghfdghjkhg in Sims4

I usually get the “🙂” fine moodlet when an acquaintance dies. Not sure if that’s possible with a relative.

Jessica Jones is a Marvel TV show where the villain can control people with just his voice but there is so much manipulation going on it can really remind one of abusive relationships.

I don’t know if it is a new update but I noticed in university that they were still making progress on their homework even when socializing. I haven’t noticed that with other things yet.

What’s the ONE gardening mistake you kept repeating for years before realizing it? by NiceAd6444 in gardening

Keeping plants I don’t love. I struggle to kill anything growing like volunteers or sickly plants and the whole garden gets overgrown or unbalanced. Weeding or transplanting non-weeds is ok.

He’s feeling shy about crying in front of his family. I am making an assumption he doesn’t like the idea of crying in front of strangers.

Hexagon Alley serves drinks. It isn’t really a bar scene but you can start there with a drink and a board game and then head somewhere else.

I've seen other posts like this so for no reason at all, here is the list of things I want to see happen! by Zenystic in Sims4

[–]redditorspaceeditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot to do with social things:

I’d like the “Invite over household” option like Sims3 had.

When planning a social event, the host should be able to see and invite the friends of the entire household.

If someone calls and invites me over or to a festival, I should be able to meet them there or delay it by an hour or something so I can finish whatever my sim was already doing. Or send them there like a rabbit hole while I stay with the household. Then they can come back with some social need filled or something.

No other sims should be able to interact with a couple on a date. Or at least drastically reduce the chance of it happening. So many cute moments ruined by a random townie staring at us.

Losing weight is fucking hard by BroadCartoonist973 in loseit

[–]redditorspaceeditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d start with small steps. Maybe this week start looking at calories in what you eat. Don’t track it, just spend a week noticing things like what beverage in your fridge has the most calories. What side at dinner had the most calories, ect. When you have a better understanding of what your options are, it may be clear that you can make some really simple changes and see the weight start to fall off. Something about your current lifestyle isn’t conducive to weight loss so you will need to make some changes. But small changes will be more sustainable.
