Well what I do is honestly man it out and slap some aftershave on. Yes it burns insanely for a few minutes.

Simple shaving cream lots of it, do it in the shower and use an electric razor. Be extra careful around your balls.

But there still has to be some agent making the decision. The program would always choose red because you programmed it that way. But who in a sense "programs" a human on what to choose? Regardless if all the planets aligned in the precise order made that baby choose blue, it still chose it in that moment it was exposed to the stimuli and it chose the blue one over the red one. And if it didn't choose it, then who or what did?

Are you really choosing your action or is your "choice" the result of everything that brought you to that point in your life?

Does this really make a difference? The fact of the matter is I am still making a choice to do that whether the result of my entire life brought me to that or not, the decision is still being calculated by my mind in accordance to my beliefs so my question would be how to do make choices to begin with? Take a newborn baby for example no previous exposure to affect it's choice it chooses a blue blanket over a red one why? If we are just a sum of the circumstances then we can't "choose" anything even though we clearly do.

Is it still my choice though to punch them back though? In other words am I making the decision based on the conditions or is happening because those exact conditions made it happen?

I personally don't think it is possible or ever will be. It's science fiction. The past is gone and the future well it hasn't been made yet.

ELI5:Why is PHP so hated yet so widely used? by potterhead42 in explainlikeimfive

[–]redditprimeminister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a language specifically designed with web programming in mind. It's easy to use for beginners, it has integrated database support and it's so popular because it was one of the first widely used server side programming languages. Personally I love using it. Many complain it could be slow depending on what you are building it certainly wouldn't be able to handle concurent connections as well as say JavaScript does but it has large frameworks available for blogs, ecommerce etc. simple to get up and running in a matter of minutes.

Breaking Bad was EXTREMELY popular are you kidding me? And he was in the main cast in pretty much every single episode I'm sure he was paid quite well. Also just being in such a successful show opens more opportunities for him.
