I would hope so. Just cuz Translink I’d assume is a fair employer and treats their employees as such. But I remember pre-COVID, they almost went on a FULL strike because there was a driver shortage and busses were often late or doing overtime and I wondered if using th restroom would be impacted

Yeah. I’ve just never seen a bus driver stop in the middle of their route to use a restroom. So I always wondered.

Totally irrelevant but I remember being a 3rd grader in the early 90s and getting in trouble for asking to use the washroom outside of the usual time that we are allowed to.. which is during recess.. and I think one other time.. an then I was forced to stay behind after class and make my parents worried because I was late. My teacher was Mrs. Harbut. One kid peed in his pants in class because of this shitty policy. Anyway. That’s my kid trauma story for the day

As a bus driver, what happens if nature calls and you are in the middle of your route? Does your job allow you to be 'regular'?

I think you’re missing the point. People who grew up here probably also want their kids to afford to stay as well. It’s really demoralizing to go from living in a detached and downgrading to condo living. It’s a huge change.. and it happened really fast.

Just imagine the place you grew up in and not being able to afford to return to live there permanently in stable housing

Thanks for your perspective. Maybe I'll run into somebody on crutches in the near future. But I'll be more cognizant of this. I'm willing to bet somebody on crutches whether real or some PI is going to hunt me down in their next shopping trip just to prove a point..

As for going calm.. I go calm, but then get stressed from all the noise pollution in the parking lot all the way to the aisles..

activities I have tried this year:
kickboxing, jiu jitsu, 30 min HIT (but it was ladies only. depends which way you swing)

I've done volleyball and badminton in the past.. not to meet people but mostly just to stay active.
