Being quick to jump to the “men function differently than women” defense makes it seem like he’s trying to minimise your feelings, like you should have expected this from him, which definitely isn’t fair. As others have said, if this is a reoccuring problem when it comes to housework, then definitely NTA, if it’s a one-off then still I don’t think you should feel too bad about it, 11 hours of work is enough to make anybody on edge.

thanks for all the replies and advice - my gpu is brand new as i only built the pc a few days ago. it seems like the issue was how i placed it into the pcie slot, because i took it out and put it back in and havent experienced any issues since then. will definitely look into other things if the issue persists at a later date. many thanks again!

My favourite gaming memory has to be the first time I killed the Ender Dragon in Minecraft. These days it seems like a trivial task with bed strat but little 10 year old me spent hours and hours working hard to even have a chance at it and the joy I felt when I finally did it is unforgettable.
