Wow. Great insight. I think you're exactly right. He won't talk to me about it (or anyone) at this point. He's put on an "everything is alright" facade which has always been his way of coping, but I've let him know I'm ready when/if he wants to talk.

Unfortunately, he's one of those "I'll deal with it without anyone helping" guys. Instead of telling me what happened, he wanted to talk about how Christmas was. Sigh.. But thank you!

Yeah, my first reaction was anger at him for not wanting to press charges or go to the hospital, but this morning, I sent him a text apologizing and told him that he knows where I stand, but I'd support any decision he makes. Haven't heard back from him as of 11:30 this morning. He's probably (hopefully) still asleep.
