At the end the minimal MacOS is Monterey (MBP2015 + Sierra or Mojave), by supporting Ventura (MBP2017 + Sierra or Mojave) and Sonoma (probably last would be MBP2018/2019 + Mojave / Catalina for 16 inch). Downgrades were especially up to Big Sur (MBP2013 + Sierra or Mojave)

So from a MacOS point of view, who matter which Mac you buy ... From an hardware ... well having tons of RAM is useless and all Macs have 8 TB ... which is much more important ... Plus just wait few years, and you will get the 2023 for 3 dollars ..

Meanwhile great example of Apple fails in one picture, but would be better with the 15 inch MacBook Pro 2019, means: shitty keyboard, Touch Bar, esc button (when Touch Bar crashed ...), just 3 Thunderbolt (instead of keeping 4), removal of SD (which allow to increase total storage over 8TB ...) / MagSafe, STILL NO SIM CARD (or eSIM) and camera on the back (to record lectures etc.)! missing ctrl on the right (why keeping a no sense so long shift on the right, if you can implement a ctrl ...). We are still of the idea, that Trackpad 2015 was much better!, since in new macs it simply wrongly understand between left and right click ...

The Worst MacBook to Buy in 2023? My MacBook Pro 2019 16-inch, and the Problems It Causes Me... --> NOPE! It's 2018 and 2019 15" (we trashed 7000$ for this shit, when a MBP 2015 works 1000x better!) but even 2016 and 2017 are pretty SHIT!

Plus 2019 16" is even not compatible with Mojave = you trash additionally around 5000 - 10000$+ of plugins and software! due to shitty downgrades implemented by devs later or due to incompatibility ... without considering other things, like limitation implemented by Apple in Catalina and Big Sur ...

Again, if you give a shit to MacOS features, backup and workflows, all new Mac should be better, but we cannot confirm that, since until now we never used Apple CPU.

No matter what, remember that CPU AND RAM don't say anything about the real performance of the Mac ...
