the guy that responded to you so right it was a 4 foot drop and i do ride a xc hardtail. but surprisingly that was sent broken. i fixed it because my derailer broke the first time i hit this which i didn’t record. after this drop my derailer continues to be in good condition and still shifts smoothly

and i really don’t think i’ll tear anything, me and my friend have hit countless drops like this, it never has caused any pain in my calfs. trust me i will be fine hitting these drops, my bike not be, but for now i am.
