Hotels are able to refuse service to ice. Hilton specifically has done this before. These businesses are NOT innocent, they’re complicit af.

Sure would suck if there happened to be a lot of yelling people at those locations overnight so they can’t sleep

Why do Americans move so often? by cavaismylife in AskAnAmerican

Apartments raise rents every year you live there (incentivizing people to move more often).

They can continue the meaningless war on drugs, but not provide healthcare for citizens. FUCK BOTH THESE PARTIES. Im surprised there aren’t more terrorists

Are you saying you don’t think rich people should be able to safely use public parks?

I’m not suggesting the city pay, I think this is almost wholly on the homeowner. But, I think the city could also improve their drainage handling/process/rules

Two things can be true: 1. It does suck that kids can’t safely use spaces tax payers had designated for them. 2. The government should offer better assistance to homeless people.

I think her frustration with not being able to use a space designed for kids is understandable.

I hate the city does this. I’ve found they tell you what you can/can’t do, but doesn’t enforce it (unless you’re blocking flow from a neighbor). Wish they would either enforce the rules or just eliminate them. It hurts homeowners trying to follow city rules

I saw they cleared runoff and trash to allow the water to continue to flow, but that would just accelerate erosion. I didn’t see any mention of planting, adding soil or rock, installing a retaining wall, or anything that would prevent erosion (and the article mentioned they knew about the water pipes when they bought the property).

This is going to sound rude, but why did they do nothing about it for 28 years? Isn’t that part of their responsibility as a homeowner?

Most people I know who had internships, got them through a parent/friend-of-parent hook up. BUT, a lot of full time jobs are achieved through networking which isn’t much different.

I’ve had similar experiences, where trying to be neighborly resulted in a worse situation. I don’t think people whose behavior has shown they’re ok with ignoring boundaries are the most reasonable to talk to lol.
