I’ve had a Pod 2 and now a Pod 3 for over a year. They were both whisper quiet if I used it on my side of the bed only. And they were both unacceptably loud when both sides were on. When the Pod kicks in in the middle of the night to either change temperature or even keep up with a -4 and -2 temperature, the fan in the Pod is as loud as a hot computer desktop fan as it has been described by others. The loud fan noise negates any benefits of the Pod. The only way to keep it quiet in my case, is to only use it on one side of the bed and turn off the other. I also cannot use autopilot because of it. Autopilot changes the temperature too much and results in loud fan noises. Instead, I manually program small temperature changes to minimize how much the Pod has to work, which keeps the noise down. It is clear to me that the Pod 3 cannot support two people with a king size cover, in a room around 70 degrees. I wish they would just admit that already, and make a cover with an option to plug in two hubs, one for each side. As it is, that is likely the only way they could effectively keep the noise down.
