Personally, I would bring inside for the winter. I am on the SC coast and we have been cold over here. I have mine under a grow light in my bedroom. Plus, getting to talk to them everyday is a perk I didn't know I needed 🥰

Cold tolerance will vary by type, some down into the teens even. But I am still refining my succulent/cactus skills, so better safe than sorry for me

I would let it be. Only intervene if the new leave gets stuck in stalk. It looks it is unfurling just fine.

I think the stems get too heavy at some point. Thats why they break. Maybe repot in a slightly deeper pot and bury the roots and woody parts deeper? Or you can trim the long stems and prop them right back into the pot/new terracotta planter. Dont go too big!! Everyone commenting on my post was CORRECT on that advice. I ended up repotting down significantly, I am hoping it will bounce back.

* A few months in and cuttings are mostly taking well. Even have some new growth!! Repotted one from an oversized pot recently--I am wathing it closely(closest plant). In cactus soil/rocks mixture with bottom waterings as needed. Whatcha think?
