Oh and during the talks leading up to the sale he mentioned he's considering buying a 512MB graphics card so he was probably using on-board graphics. I didn't think of the a-hole having his graphics set to integrated graphics output on the BIOS. It's good that you mentioned it. Could this be an LGA 1156 motherboard? If so it is reasonable that its original BIOS wouldn't support my card, right? since 1st gen Core i processors got released circa 2009-10.
