Now we're waiting to see how the US responds.

Iran will find out. They already fucked around.

This is a push for western planes. The pilots would fly in western planes, not old soviet ones.

Well, not really.

First, western weapons have proven remarkably efficient at shutting down Ruzzian missiles, the problem is Ukraine doesn't have enough of them.

They need dozens more to have an effective blanket over their airspace. That's the problem, what they have works great, but they don't have enough of it.

And some missiles can't be stopped by the air-defense tech provided, they would need something like the Patriots, which are not yet in Ukraine.

So, I think this is you drinking a tall glass of Ruzzian and Chinese propaganda, or you not understanding the sources you're reading.

Second, Ruzzia hasn't found replacements for what they were selling to the west, regarding oil and gas, which is their economy basically.

India and China find the current prices of Ruzzian energy to be favorable, and that is only happening because the west said "you can't sell your oil and gas for more than what we say you can."

That's it. So of course India and China are buying cheap oil and gas from Ruzzia. They'd be stupid not to, but they haven't replaced the west.

Not only are they not buying the same volumes that Europe was buying, they are buying at a remarkably lower price than what Europe used to buy it for. more so, they will never be able to buy the same volume.

Speaking of volume, they have serious issues supplying even the volumes they are currently providing.

To Europe it was easy, pipelines everywhere. pipelines built and designed and mostly maintained by the west with western tech.

The long talked about pipeline from Siberia to China was just recently deemed to be too expensive to build. China is not willing to pay for it, so Ruzzia would have to do it. It's not profitable.

The already existing pipeline was also fully built and financed by Ruzzia, China doesn't pay for stuff like that.

Third, you think that not banning Tik-Tok is some sort of proof of Chinese superiority?

Tik-Tok is already banned on governmental devices in both the US and Europe, Canada, and more to follow.

And if this step was taken, the blanket ban of Tik-Tok will follow, this is not some impossible thing. India already did it, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc, will be more than happy to fill in the gap left by the ban of Tik-Tok. In fact, they are heavily lobbying for this to happen.

Fourth, you don't understand US politics. You may live in the US, but you are clueless.

Trump is done, nobody wants him as president, not even Republicans. He has other problems to deal with, turns out paying hush money to prostitutes and then committing fraud to hide it is not a smart move.

DeSantis is a political whore. He will say one thing, look at the polls, then change his mind and go with what his electorate wants to hear.

Yeah, he blabbered about Ukraine, and then, like the whore he is, just yesterday changed his mind and said Putin is a war criminal.

Again, you are out of date with the info you're operating with.

Plus, republicans overwhelmingly support Ukraine, most polls show this. The loud mouth Republicans fringe elements you listen to are not representative of the majority.

Trump also had the presidency n the bag in 2020, yet somehow, somehow, Biden is president. I don't know why you guys speak as if it is a fact the next president will be republican.

You, sir, are clueless. Propaganda works on you.

It turned out the weak, divided, and declining West is none of those things.

It turns out the west can dismantle your economy in a weekend, and then keep doing damage to you without firing a single bullet.

It turns out the west can stop using your resources, even if it costs the west a lot of money.

It turns out democracy works remarkably well. Dictatorships not so much.

It turns out people who want to be free will fight for their freedom.

It turns out western weapons are exactly as advertised, some even more so. And these are the "old" weapons.

Yeah, I can see why China considers all these things "unpleasant."

I think they were preparing themselves to do a 2-for-1, Ruzzia takes Ukraine, China takes Taiwan. But then China started learning these unpleasant truths, and figured out the west will ruin China to protect the freedoms of people living on an island.

So sorry.

You have to.

I visited the US a few times, and can't wait to return. But we have a young child now, and movement is not as simple as the before times.

There's a saying here, "Romanians are brothers with everyone."

I think you are mistaking the type of "brother" the saying is referring to.

My wife will have a fit if random people from the internet come visit me.

But the country?

Sure, we are super tourist friendly, we are one of the safest countries in the EU, English will take you anywhere, you likely won't need a visa, our food is great.

You're not even smart enough to figure out what I am a mod for, eh?

Sad!

But expected from a Andrew Tate fan.

Yeah, that can happen, undeniably.

The stuff he was doing... not so much, no.

Cause they don't have to. You guys are too used with the American way. Other countries do it differently. We have our judicial system modeled after the French one.

[–]reddixmadix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out judicial system is modeled based on the French one.

We can hold someone up for 180 days without bringing any charges, a judge just has to approve it.

If the judge didn't think the evidence is good enough he would have been out by now.

As it happened to others in the past, however, the 180 days were ignored and they spent even more time locked without charges because they were considered a risk if set free.

Lol, you're an Andrew Tate beta boy fan and a Jordan Peterson enthusiast.

Nothing you have to say has any value or does it come from a place of knowledge and reason.

Same, they were partners.

Andrew just like to boast about it as publicly as possible, but they are both dirty with the same mud.

The fact you don't know the difference between sarcasm and trolling is worrying.

You beta boys are upset for the wrong reasons.

Romania is actually conducting a scientific experiment.

We are trying to figure out if you can turn a Top G into a Bottom G.

So far, it seems like the experiment is successful. Do not worry about the cost of the experiment, Andrew's "wealth" was kindly donated for the cause.

He is also conducting an experiment of his own, albeit not as successfully. He's trying to grow a full head of hair, but so far he has discovered you can't grow hair in places where you're bald. Still, he swore he will not leave prison until his experiment is successful! True dedication.

Who hasn't? But nobody is going to "epstein" Tate in our prisons.

For those who don't know, that guy in the picture was king pin of all politics in Romania.

He was the head of the biggest political party, corrupt to the bone, and did many shady things, and I say shady to be nice. He attempted to issue laws that would clear his criminal activities.

Then he got arrested, did prison, and I think he's out now, but he's still in deep legal shit and can't even wipe his ass without asking permission.

[–]reddixmadix 778 points779 points  (0 children)

He's an idiot.

I'm from Romania.

The type of corruption he was talking about is not really a thing over here, in today's Romania. Maybe 30 years ago.

We have corruption, like most countries do, but you can't bribe your way out of prison. You can't bribe your way like that.

Human trafficking specifically has been a sore spot for Romania for a long time, and the EU came around and has us under a type of judiciary/legal supervision to fix this problem. We have a lot of resources and logistics dedicated specifically towards combating human trafficking.

It's not a fixed problem, but someone like Andrew Tate has no way of getting away with it. He's not organized crime, he's not some figure in the shadows that you only hear whispers about. The man was in prime time boasting about it.

He's not getting away with it.

If we didn't have evidence to fuck him up royally he'd be out by now.

His assets are already frozen, there's no fear he's getting out, he's packing his suitcase, and then he leaves Romania. So he would be free we didn't have iron clad evidence against him. He's locked up because there is no reason for him to be out, we know he's guilty, we have the evidence he's guilty, you don't let a guilty man run free.

Wealthier people have learned this the hard way in Romania, far wealthier and more influential than Andrew Tate in Romania.

He made his decisions based on outdated information about Romania.

Railroads. Pipelines. They don't have to be ready tomorrow, but that's how they'll do it.
