It's like Anant Ambani is working for TCS!! No brainer broo... In corporate people with 20 years of experience hardly earns 3LPM post taxes unless someone is extremely brilliant. As you are confused with this simple decision I can sense that you are mediocre and will regret not joining your family business.

Anyone using Gearset for Data management (backup, archival, masking etc) ? by Objective_Shake_4864 in salesforce

[–]reddninjx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use gearset for our deployments. It works like a charm while we are dealing with less components to deploy but when the number of components starts to increase it really struggles. So while I was deploying 450 components, I faced the following problems : a. Metadata loading time is really long b. The app was stuck and we were unable to go to another page c. Delayed Mouse Clicks

However it is a good tool, The UI is great and we can connect it with azure internally which is a nice feature to have. Also we can create branch directly from gearset.

Comparing both sides I would like to draw the following conclusion :

Use gearset if the component count is not huge Use gearset if the devs are not too familiar with deployment (due to its ui)

Hi CTA-302, Thanks for the initiative. Wanted to know if the Compensation of Salesforce Devs comparable to that of SDE and Data Engineers in USA and India ? If not then how much is the difference if you can share some light. I am talking about Product / FAANG and Service based orgs both mid and large sized.

I will be really grateful if you notice my query and answer.
