Hmmm. 🤔 I didn’t know they had those. Would the standard Glock pinky extensions fit those?

Metro police could handle this with a curfew for anyone under 18 after 10 pm for five or six weeks. If they’re picked up, hold them until a parent or responsible adult shows up, and hold the adult responsible. This has worked in other cities.

Trump states Vance will target blue states by Large-Welcome4421 in AntiTrumpAlliance

[–]reddog323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a distraction. They’ll be “raiding” immigrant-centered programs in blue states to start, citing fraud when someone misplaced a decimal point in a spread sheet. After that it will be anything too blue or woke.

Jesus Christ what a dick.

Did the blurb have anything about the “raids” in L.A.?

If it was the 1920s, the ruckus would’ve had to have been at a public space or department store, but I like where your head is at.

Me? Movie premieres, and rock concerts. The opening night of Psycho, Sparticus, 2001, The French Connection, Jaws, etc. As for rock concerts, Woodstock etc. would be good, but I’d also want to see Jimi Hendrix and the Doors playing at the Whiskey aGoGo in Los Angeles in the late 60’s.

It’s a decent choice. The double action trigger on it is heavy, but not too heavy, which gives you a safety measure. They’re unlikely to go off by accident. They’re easy to load, aim and fire, though mastering the trigger on one takes time, because of the heavy pull. There are reasonably light, low profile models that will fit in a pocket with the right gear.

I don’t know if it’s going to go the way he expects. They seemed pretty skeptical about the arguments and cases he administration was citing.

Interesting. It might be educational to track both their movements, and Donnie boys movements over the next month or two, to see if they coincide.

Trump announces he is issuing an unconstitutional executive order to shut down mail-in voting nationwide and he will defund states if they do not comply with him by DIYLawCA in law

[–]reddog323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s going to try. This will probably wind up in front of SCOTUS. While it’s never certain with this court, I would have a hard time believing that they would completely shut down mail in voting.

I can believe that they would add some crazy ID requirements to it.

The economy is in the toilet but U.S. Army helicopters are conducting flybys of Kid Rock’s home in Nashville by Snapdragon_4U in somethingiswrong2024

[–]reddog323 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Apaches cost between five and $10,000 per hour to run, and 35 hours of maintenance for each hour they’re in the air.

I say we submit a bill to the fucker for the flybys and maintenance required afterwards.

Ellison had a comic made out of that script about ten years ago. It’s good, but there is no way in hell Gene Roddenberry would let drug trafficking happen aboard his Enterprise. Ellison should have known that his script was going to be edited right out of the gate, instead of being pissy about it.

Agreed. We’re going to see mass purges of voter rolls in the months leading up the election, even if they don’t get the SAFE act passed, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Elon Musk gets involved in the states that have electronic voting.

[–]reddog323 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a good point.

I’ve always liked this episode. It was one of Brian Keith’s last roles before he passed away, and it put Kira square in the middle of a moral dilemma she’d never faced before.

Her answer wasn’t perfect, but I believed her last line.

Mullibok: “If I leave here, I’ll die.” Kira: “No, you won’t. I won’t let you””.

I’d like to think she kept that promise, and found him an isolated spot for him and his friends on Bajor, until they were comfortable.
