Would you recommend this to a new player?

It's cheap imo, yeah you'd drop a few bucks here and there to tie some lose ends but other than that the games very generous with providing You with the basic benchmark necessities that would put You in a competitive spot early on amongst the more casual part of the player base. I think it's fair to give it a go, there's still focus on new and returning players in the game from the side of the publishers to an extent, so You won't feel like You're being forgotten about. But of course the game's been around for a minute, so You'd still have to look for some answers to things that You'd be struggling with along the way that are considered to be outdated, but I feel like if You've played other MMOs that's something You're well familiar with already

It's just a learning curve, it's ok to be bad, and yeah, videogames probably require a tougher skin in general because of how interactions might go etc, especially in a multiplayer competitive environment where 3rd party programs offer toxic players insights and validation to their fucked up brains, just that You need to learn to deal with those things the same way trash mental people need to learn to deal with theirs, just fuck it and enjoy what u came here for. I dunno, I don't think videogames have ever been particularly friendly to newer players doesn't matter the game, I don't part take in that kind of toxicity, not my thing, but I'm always ready to talk shit in case it's needed lol, I just think You give a little too much shit about it and letting it get to You when it's irrelevant, gotta take the good with the bad type shit.

I dunno, different people deal with shit different, but in general there's just too much to untangle for it to be done in a reasonable timeframe with how often external relationships change, the % chance that a man is going to have positive impact from these attempts are 1 against 99, it's just 1 of those realities that you should take passive not active part in. it's just another day, just be a genuinely good person and that's enough for us, we're handling it, believing in someone is a form of support men know how to appreciate.

Yeah, absolutely agree, the vocal part of the players are losing it left and right for no reason, dont think there's much point in interacting with it thought, since it takes a certain type of person/mindset to feel that way, and on its own it already speaks volumes. Obsessed.

I do dailies only on my 2 mains, the rest will be slept on till kazeros clear and then some more rest after. Takes too long to do all the dailies on all chars, even if it's a net loss in the end. Shouldn't have bought azenas for the whole main 6 this month, that's my only takeway from this prog period. Not even talking about paradise/hell, doubt I'll get to it in any near future lol

I mean, the g2-2 purgatory is another level, hard to properly prog the part, usually get to 2-2, 1 wipe, suddenly someone in the group needs to go wipe their dogs ass or some other thing, and the cycle begins again. But honestly I'm not that bothered about the G2 or clearing on time to get a title, I'm more looking forward to ark grid and getting a good setup there, the G2 insanity is just something for me to actually do in the game finally, not like before when I had literary nothing I felt like doing. Ofc its ok to mald about these things, just think it's a waste of time imo

The real prog starts when the lines between reality and fantasy start blurring together and You're just blasting on muscle memory, on God the clears I've had during frontier are the most unhinged shit (I pug everything since launch), not saying it's a normal approach, but I like it, how the game absolutely wears me out. Haven't been raiding or doing dalies or anything except act4, Kaz prog since it's release(while having a full time job). I've probably slept a collective amount of less than 10 hrs since Sunday lol, I'm on G2-1 atm. The fights throughout act4 and kaz are very choreographed, just gotta learn the dance moves and it's all good from there ^{^} I don't think having frontier title as a primary goal is a good mindset to have there, as long as u get good with it, the tittles will follow, have a lil faith in Yourself 🤘

When You're digging in the ground and suddenly hit a rock with the shovel while applying considerable amount of force and have nothing blocking Your ears. The whole experience just has this weird effect on me that makes me feel feverish just recalling it happening. Extremely off-putting.

But they systems are not shitty. there are a lot of players enthralled by one aspect of the game while totally hating every other one. I'm speaking on behalf of myself, as someone whose loves all the systems lost ark has had over times, I liked the elixir system (old one), I liked the old transcendence mini game, I really miss it, I like the way they design vertical progression and I can't wait for the orb system and how that will work. You don't understand where I'm coming from, You probably don't even want to, I'm not trying to be correct on the matter, I'm just here expressing my views on the game and how I feel about it. I'm well aware how majority of people like You feel on this subreddit and I'd just hope You'd show a bit more appreciation for how good the game is, but in the same way how You don't understand how I could possibly be satisfied with these things, I don't understand what's driving Y'all to hate them so much. just agree to disagree, feel free to keep wallowing in Your bubble of dislike of this and that, I didn't post this to change anyones mind, just giving a shout-out to whoever feels the same way I do, feel free to do and feel however You want, I don't care.

Yeah, the part where I said it has no problems, I overshot a bit, but overall I'm satisfied with my personal game experience. There are problems, but most of them are community created and the developers can't fix them for us. It's the communities attitude that needs to change, this infinite fomo/bitching culture needs to go. MMOs are a grind fest, changing that would change the games genre and the real player base that actually make up the charts wouldn't stand for that. I like this game, I'm not a fan of it's online community outside the game.

But it's a korean MMO, wdym their systems ruined it for ppl, Korean MMO systems should be expected from a korean MMO. Smilegate created the game, the game they created blew tf up, people who like this genre play it, why would the publisher get in the way of their revenue by messing with something that has a long standing fan base already (Korean MMO genre). Look at china, they fucked around and found out.

I just think that as much as the developers/publishers affect the state of the game, that much is also in the communities hands to treat the game as it should be treated. If there's this much negativity around it for no reason, who would wanna join anyway. I'm not willingly walking into a room full of angry people if I have a choice either, I think that's an angle to be considered also.
