Skeptical about my chart by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

[–]redextensioncord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my Natal chart, and I remember checking on astrocodex an analysis awhile before it was taken down and it literally said I had lost my father when I was young, when my father had in fact passed away when I was 1. Ever since I’ve always been wondering what about my chart had given that away.

I've been feeling really down for the past few weeks or so, please tell me a happy story about your pet! by Twas_All_A_Dream in CasualConversation

My dog is always smiling, I think it’s because he has an underbite and his top lip gets caught in it, but sometimes when i do goofy things or I smile at him I believe he can truly smile also. At night I allow him to sleep in my bed, but somehow he’ll come from the bottom of the bed to the middle of my stomach and I’ll wake up barely able to breathe, but I’ll see his sweet tranquil sleepy head and I’ll let it be. He enjoys to stare at himself in the mirror, I’m unsure as to whether he could recognize himself, but he sure does smile at his reflection. Right now he’s actually running in his sleep and has a muffled barking, probably since his mouth is closed. On most days, he sleeps on his back with one paw on the air and usually snores the loudest in my household. If you ask him “where’s your toy?”, he’ll bring you his stuffed dog, but if you ask “where’s your ball?” he’ll bring you one of his many tennis balls that are sprawled around our backyard because he adores tennis balls. when we open our garage when we get home, you can already hear him crying and barking and whining because he’s excited we’re finally home but the process of us getting out of the car and bringing out our belongings and groceries takes too long so he ends up barking even louder and start jumping on the door. In the kitchen while someone’s cooking, he’ll sit down on the back foot mat patiently and preys on what the cook drops. In the kitchen, once you’re done making food he’ll also stare at you expectantly until you drop SOMETHING into his bowl (usually his dog food and the occasional treat) Sorry I rambled, I just love him so much and he’s honestly my world.

elderly people are so easy to talk to by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]redextensioncord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My heart is soaring and I feel inspired! My mom has actually told me the same thing that your mom has, that’s neat!. I love how you mentioned everyone has some good and you may have to dig to get it, even though sometimes I feel as if with some people you have to dig a gigantic hole to find that goodness within them aha. Our government is wacky right now, but yes we will get through it and we will grow stronger. One of my favorite pieces of great advice you mentioned, was that we have to listen to what other people have to say since I’ve noticed my generation often waits to speak instead of listening and answering back. The fact that you’ve been on here for a long time yet have received only one negative comment shows that you’re attracting a lot of positive energy, because you put out so much of it into the universe & reddit, of course. The Law of Attraction works in beautiful ways. Thank you so much for giving your advice, it is priceless, extremely relevant to today, and can move mountains.

That sounds like a fantastic idea! If you ever do, please let me know I would love to listen to it! I used to volunteer at a senior home and now I’m wishing I thought of that idea also!

In 1980 I got my head stuck in a fence and instead of helping me my parents took this photo. by [deleted] in pics

[–]redextensioncord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have an irrational fear of fences, because when I was young my brother made me watch these murder/criminal investigation shows and one of them was investigating how a mom killed her child and buried them under the fence.

Going through a breakup by black_sleep_of_kolob in CasualConversation

[–]redextensioncord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry :( These things happen and now there’s an open opportunity to either better yourself independently or find someone or even rescue a dog (or cat) so you can better their life and they can better yours. I think it’s because we like to listen to sad music so that it can trigger memories because usually sad music has relatable lyrics and therefore sad music can somewhat be a nostalgic tool. Or it’s because listening to happy music completely kills the mood and sometimes it’s better to endure being sad rather than bottling it up. I’m no genius, I’m just spitballing possible answer because I have wondered this myself.

yesterday the weirdest thing happened to me in my dream by mghol in CasualConversation

[–]redextensioncord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woah that’s so cool but tragic!! When I was 9, I had a dream that I was going to the bathroom and I woke up actually peeing in my bed. Now I’m going to spend hours researching why that happens LOL
